We launched this referral "affiliate" program as a little thank you for our loyal customers.
We receive tons of thank you emails every month from satisfied customers who at least half of the time tell us "I have told all my friends about you" or " I get stopped all the time while shopping and always hand out your business cards." In the past I have sent out thank you notes/emails and offered little freebies when they placed thier next order. But I wanted to "really" show my appreciation for a customers referral, so we started this program.
Any shopping cart cover store customer can enroll in this referral program. Non-customers, individuals, businesses and webmasters can enroll too.
I have had the pleasure of emailing with several stay at home mom (like me) that wanted shopping cart covers, but did not have the extra in thier budget. I mailed them some business cards and flyers and they have referred so many customers that they have earned thier own shopping cart cover and some extra money for thier family too.
We assign each person-affiliate with a tracking code. Any and all orders that reference a code are recorded and the affiliate associated with that code is provided a check or paypal payment for 5% of the sale (excluding shipping and tax). We make all payments in US Funds on the 15th for the previous month. Referral bonus is paid on completed orders, orders refunded/cancelled are not eligible for bonus.
